Final Coil release new video and open stunning new t-shirt pre-sale!

Digital copies of the new Final Coil album, The World We Inherited, are now available from the band's bandcamp page and to celebrate the band have also presented a brand new t-shirt, designed by the renowned artist Dan Goldsworthy. Dan's incredible artwork adorns the album covers and t-shirts of an array of metal's finest bands; from Haken to Heathen, Sepultura to Aborted, Phil Campbell And The Bastard Sons, Epica, Gloryhammer, Cradle Of Filth and so many more. In conjunction with the 'Wires' inspired t-shirt, Final Coil have also unveiled a new lyric video for the song - and it's available to view at the Final Coil YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BP48sIYGgc Speaking about the track and video Final Coil frontman, Phil Stiles, explains: "The idea behind the song, with its repetitive refrain, was to focus on the horrifying belief that something is indeed alive within you. It's a primal dread that Morgellons taps into, and I felt the lyric should reflect that. There are just three components - as befitting an illness that is poorly understood and based around belief as opposed to empirical evidence: the primal fear that something has infested your body; the equally unsettling notion that there is a "they" out there (be it a New World Order, secret elite, or what have you), that is manipulating this; and a fear (rather more rational in this instance), of Genetically Modified Organisms - GMOs. While I am not, in any way, linking GMOs to Morgellons, the emergence of monocultures certainly is concerning, and the concept - often poorly understood - helps to fuel the fires of those who believe there is an overarching global conspiracy in play."
